History
Demeter was formed in 2014 as a result of market requirements for a Malaysian company which can be flexible to the market needs and managed by a team of experts with In-depth knowledge of the industry.
Demeter has built sustainable partnerships with manufacturers of both Barites & Oilfield Chemicals. Demeter’s critical success factor is its ability to consistently meet the market demands and its reputation for high-grade quality products via stringent quality controls imposed on manufacturers.
Demeter offers complete solutions to its customers by providing complete management of importing, warehousing, silo storage and pumping the products into supply boats for transfer to oil rigs.
Demeter is the only company in Malaysia which has its operations in both Kemaman Supply Base and Labuan (Asian Supply Base), has warehouses, our own manufacturing unit and own Silos in both locations.

Own Manufacturing Facilities
Demeter is equipped with the latest pulverizing facilities allowing us to grind 5,000 MT per month with the capacity to supply up to 15,000 MT with strategic tie-up with other mill owners.
Direct Quality Control
We directly control the quality of our products and meet international quality standards and in most cases, exceed them.
Stock Reserves
Demeter has the capacity to maintain a stock reserve of around 15,000 Mts of Barite ore, subject to terms and conditions. This is to allow our customers to order just in time and to save cost on storage.

Demeter has established strong relationship with Financial Institutions and has secured financial facilities that has enabled Demeter to effectively manage its Cash flow to weather adverse or cyclical industry trends and manage significantly large orders to fulfill its business requirements for further expansion.
